How to cancel Gold’s Gym membership (free trial)?

Today I got suckered by some Gold’s Gym workers outside a grocery store. Before I knew it, I got signed up for a two week free trial membership for a Gold’s Gym that doesn’t open for another month or so. I guess it was a grand opening deal. They told me I get two weeks free and I only get charged if I cancel after two weeks. How do I cancel the free trial? The contract they had me sign doesn’t specify the free trial so I’m scared that I’m going to see a $50 charge on my bank account. I want to do this immediately so I don’t have to worry about it. I’m a college student and I don’t need to pay for a gym membership when I can workout for free at school.

On the paper work you got there should be an address, you have to tell them to cancel in writing, send it registered mail and ask for a card where it was signed for. Call your bank and put an alert not to pay this. Because chances are you sign up for a 2 yr contract.
